General Information

This website is operated by the Cambridge Real Estate Machine Learning Lab (CREMLL), a network of researchers working on the intersection of real estate markets, AI, machine learning and data science in general. CREMLL is based at the University of Cambridge. Members of this network are jointly working on a research project titled “Coming to Terms with Ambiguous Asset Dimensions: Quantify and Qualify Beauty, Quality and Uniqueness in the Built Environment with Machine Learning” (henceforth “research project”). This project is funded by the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany, as part of the SEEK programme and conducted by researchers at ZEW – Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research and the University of Cambridge.

Project leader and prime contact is Dr. Thies Lindenthal of the University of Cambridge. The project team currently consists of two academic researchers and one technician.

The website is available via the CREMLL website and also via its google cloud URL. The website is henceforth referred to as 4WALLS.

Availability and Performance

4WALLS is publicly available. However its existence will only be promulgated by invitation to groups of participants for certain image evaluation experiments.

CREMLL makes reasonable efforts to ensure that this service can be accessed without interruptions. However, CREMLL assumes no liability for interruptions or other disruptions.
